What did you like most about this book?
I liked that the emotion in each piece was raw and real. Some poets have lost that art, but Love was able to personalize his pieces and make the reader feel as if they were written for them.
What did you like least about this book?
I prefer proper English verses slang English and found that the slang took away from the book.
Any suggestions for how this book could have been better?
Less usage of slang terminology, proper punctuation and in general, more grammatical editing.
What was your overall impression of this book?
I felt that the author put his whole heart into each piece, allowing the reader to experience firsthand, the emotion and pain in each poem. The title is very fitting, because you can feel that tears were flowing with each piece. Love conveys how everyday things impact our lives and words join us all together. Each piece can become personal to readers for a different reason than that of the author, but it is in the art of penmanship that allows us to find a meaning personal to us. For an author to bring the reader to that point is where real talent and creativity lies, and I commend Love on having this ability. I really enjoyed 'One Woman to Raise A Family' and 'Heaven's Wings'.

Prolific gives the reader the ability to live through his words with his colorful descriptions and vibrant words. It's definitely a must-read.
wow i read some of your work and I'm impressed you captured intimate moments that nobody really talks about like the one with the pregnant woman it was like your thoughts were so pure when u put them on paper...it was refreshing.
I like the technique the author used, he expressed real life issues using his craft of poetry. This type of poetry is definitely needed in our society today.
This was the best book of poetry I've ever read!!!!! The emotions incited were amazing, I was able to laugh, cry, mourn and smile. As a woman I could relate to all the words, it almost seemed as if they came alive and were speaking directly to me!!!!!
but it's not just for women, men can also benefit from the poems and relay their life and relationship experiences with the author who is actually a male and perhaps learn something.
I would highly recommend this book to all who have ever experienced love, wants love or has fallen out of love. I can hear my favorite poem from the book replaying in my mind right now; "A Million Ways" I would love to know what was the authors muse )
To the poet Congratulations, Fidel! Putting a book out is no easy task, but it's most definitely worth while. Thanks for the previews. I like what I see here, really like the voice you bring to your poems.
To the reader Fidel has crafted a book of truly beautiful poetry with this, his first release. There is a steady rhythm to his writing, not unlike what one would find in the spoken word scene, and the content of his poetry has the heart and drive to match. Covering an array of topics, Fidel's poetry comes with a strikingly genuine voice, addressing things with the most intimate of care, inviting the reader in to niches and corners of the world often forgotten or never really known to begin with. This book is a gem of memorable and heartfelt poetry. Definitely not to be missed.
Cry Through The Pen is a book of poems but before you judge this book as your typical collection of rhyming words, think again. Poet Fidel M. Love has done a incredible job of carefully conveying true feeling and emotion throughout this book.
Readers will feel as though they are experiencing what is happening or even able to truly relate to Mr. Love's beautifully painted words on paper. Nothing is off limits from relationships,love and more are creatively woven together that makes you fall in love with the words because you can hear them being whispered to you.
I believe poets have it harder than an author because everyone is not always going to like your inner voice but Fidel, is a talented and gifted man who I commend for showing his readers feelings and even his own vulnerability.
A few notable poems that I enjoyed were Cry Through The Pen, Miss You, Sunshine and A Road Uncharted. Fans of poetry and spoken word will find true delight in poetic release as I did. Much continued success Fidel!
